In compliance with the Department of Banking and Finance any person applying for a mortgage broker license has to complete twenty-four (24) hours of classroom education prior to becoming licensed. The curriculum for the education shall cover primary and subordinated financing transactions, federal status that apply to the financing of Real Estate, current and accepted mortgage principles and technical information basic to the mortgage broker profession.
